The Cyrillic Capital Letter El With Descender (Ԯ) is an extension of the Cyrillic script used in Khanty, Itelmen, and Enets orthographies. This uppercase glyph represents an ‘L’ sound with specific articulation (often lateral). It was added to Unicode 7.0 to support minority languages in Siberia.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with the lowercase version ԯ (U+052F) or the standard El Л.
