The Armenian Capital Letter Ayb (Ա) is the first letter of the Armenian alphabet. Introduced in version 1.1, it serves as the foundation for the Armenian script. In technical environments, it is treated as an Uppercase Letter with a Left-to-Right directionality. It is used both in modern and classical Armenian texts.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with the lowercase version ա (U+0561) or the Cyrillic letter А.
