ℹ️ About
The Arabic Small High Jeem (ۚ) is a specialized nonspacing mark used in Quranic orthography to indicate a Waqf Ja’iz (Permissible Stop). Technically, it is a Nonspacing Mark (NSM) belonging to the Combining Class: Above. This means it is rendered over a preceding base letter without taking up its own horizontal width. It has been a part of the Unicode standard since version 1.1 (1993).
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with the full-sized letter ج (U+062C) or other high marks like ۘ.
