ℹ️ About

The Syriac Letter Teth Garshuni (ܜ) is a specialized character in the Syriac alphabet used primarily for Garshuni—a method of writing Arabic (and other languages) using the Syriac script. As an Arabic Letter (AL) class character, it inherently follows Right-to-Left (RTL) directional rules. It was standardized in 1999 as part of Unicode 3.0 to support accurate transliteration and historical text preservation.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ܛ (U+071B Syriac Letter Teth) which lacks the Garshuni modification.
