The Mongolian Digit Nine (᠙) is a numerical character used in the traditional Mongolian script. It belongs to the “Number, Decimal Digit” (Nd) category and was introduced in Unicode 3.0. Unlike Arabic numerals, Mongolian digits are designed for vertical script alignment, flowing from top to bottom.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with 9 (Western Nine) or ᠘ (Mongolian Digit Eight).
