The Limbu Letter La (ᤗ) is a phonetic character used in the Limbu script, primarily spoken by the Limbu people of Nepal, Sikkim, and Bhutan. Added in Unicode 4.0, it functions as a primary consonant. Technically, it is an “Other Letter” in the Basic Multilingual Plane (BMP) with a Left-to-Right bidirectional class.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ᤖ (Limbu Letter Ra).
