ℹ️ About

The Device Control Two (DC2) is a non-printing control character originally designed for hardware-level communication. Historically, DC2 was often used to signal a printer to turn on a specific mode (like bold or compressed text) or to activate a secondary device. In modern software architecture, it is largely obsolete but remains part of the Basic Latin block for legacy compatibility.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with (DC1) or (DC3).
