U+0018

ℹ️ About

The Cancel (CAN) control character is a legacy non-printing code used to signal that the data currently being transmitted is erroneous or should be discarded by the receiver. In modern computing, while rarely used in standard text, it remains a part of the ASCII-compatible Basic Latin block for protocol consistency.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with (Delete) or (Backspace).
