The Latin Capital Letter J With Stroke (Ɉ) is an uppercase glyph within the Latin Extended-B block. It was introduced in Unicode 5.0 to support specialized orthographies, most notably for the Mazahua language of Mexico, where it represents a voiced palatal fricative or similar phoneme. It consists of the capital ‘J’ modified with a horizontal bar across the middle.
