ℹ️ About
The Cyrillic Capital Letter Zhe (Ж) represents the voiced retroflex sibilant /ʐ/ or the voiced postalveolar fricative /ʒ/. Historically derived from the Glagolitic letter “Zhivete,” its distinctive six-legged symmetrical shape makes it one of the most recognizable characters in the Cyrillic alphabet, used in Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, and Serbian.
