ℹ️ About
The Cyrillic Small Letter Pe With Middle Hook (ҧ) is a specialized linguistic character primarily used in the Abkhazian alphabet until 1954 to represent the aspirated voiceless bilabial plosive /pʰ/. In modern Abkhazian orthography, it has largely been replaced by the Pe with descender. It is technically distinct from the standard Cyrillic Pe (П) due to the addition of a middle hook extending from the right vertical bar.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with Ҧ (Uppercase U+04A6) or standard Cyrillic п.
