ℹ️ About

The Left-Facing Armenian Eternity Sign (֎), or “Arevakhach” (Sun-Cross), is an ancient national emblem representing the sun, cosmic flow, and eternal life. In technical terms, U+058E is the counter-clockwise variant of this eight-winged whorl. Added in Unicode 7.0, it is classified as an “Other Symbol” (So). This symbol is ubiquitous in Armenian architecture—often found on “khachkars” (cross-stones)—and serves as a primary marker of Armenian cultural identity in digital typography.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ֍ (U+058D), which is the Right-Facing variant of the Eternity Sign.
