The Left-Facing Armenian Eternity Sign (֎), or “Arevakhach” (Sun-Cross), is an ancient national emblem representing the sun, cosmic flow, and eternal life. In technical terms, U+058E is the counter-clockwise variant of this eight-winged whorl. Added in Unicode 7.0, it is classified as an “Other Symbol” (So).
