The Hebrew Letter Shin (ש) is the twenty-first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In Unicode, it is classified as an “Other Letter” (Lo) within the Hebrew block. It is a Right-To-Left (RTL) character. It is linguistically versatile, representing both the “sh” sound (Shin) and the “s” sound (Sin) depending on the placement of a diacritic dot.
