ℹ️ About
The Arabic Small Damma (U+0619) is a specialized nonspacing mark used in high-fidelity Arabic vocalization to represent the short vowel /u/. Unlike the standard Damma, this “small” variant is primarily found in Quranic manuscripts and classical texts to indicate specific recitation nuances. As a Combining Class CCC31 character, it stacks vertically above base letters and other lower-level marks.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with the standard ُ (U+064F Arabic Damma).
