The Arabic Zwarakay (ٙ) is a Nonspacing Combining Mark primarily used in Pashto orthography to represent a specific vowel sound. As a “Combining Class Above” character, it is designed to sit directly over a base letter without taking up horizontal space. It was officially integrated into Unicode 4.1 to support localized linguistic nuances.
