The Arabic Letter Noon Ghunna (U+06BA) is a dotless version of the standard Arabic Noon. It is a critical character in Urdu orthography used to indicate the nasalization (ghunna) of the preceding vowel. Introduced in Unicode 1.1, it follows a right-to-left bidirectional flow and is a staple of Indo-Aryan languages written in the Arabic script.
