The Thaana Letter Haa (U+0780) is the first letter of the Thaana script, primarily used to write the Maldivian language, Dhivehi. Technically unique, the Thaana script is written from right-to-left and derives its letterforms from Arabic and Indic numerals. The letter Haa represents the voiceless glottal fricative /h/.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with the Arabic digit one ١ (U+0661) or the Arabic letter Alif ا.
