The Devanagari Letter Glottal Stop (ॽ) is a specialized linguistic character used to represent a glottal stop sound in specific languages utilizing the Devanagari script, such as Limbu. Added in Unicode 4.1, it is technically an “Other Letter” (Lo) and does not possess combining properties, functioning as a standalone consonant-like base.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with (Devanagari Sign Avagraha) which marks vowel prolongation or dropped ‘a’.
