The Bengali Anji (ঀ) is a specialized orthographic sign used in the Bengali script as a symbol of benediction, invocation, or to mark the beginning of a sacred text. Integrated into Unicode 7.0, it is technically an “Other Letter” (Lo) that acts as a standalone symbol rather than a combining mark.
