ℹ️ About

The Bengali Digit Four (৪) is a numerical character used in the Bengali script, which is the second most used writing system in South Asia. In technical terms, it is a decimal digit with a Left-To-Right (LTR) bidirectional class. Added in Unicode 1.1, it is functionally identical to the Hindu-Arabic ‘4’ but tailored for the aesthetic and linguistic requirements of Bengali, Assamese, and Manipuri languages.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with the Gurmukhi digit or the Latin digit 8.
