The Gurmukhi Letter Kha (ਖ) is a consonant used in the Gurmukhi script for the Punjabi language. Technically classified as an “Other Letter” (Lo) in the Gurmukhi block, it represents the voiceless aspirated velar plosive /kʰ/. It has been a standard part of Unicode since version 1.1.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ਖ਼ (Gurmukhi Letter Khha, U+0A59), which features a nukta for the /x/ sound.
