The Mongolian Digit One (᠑) is a numerical character from the traditional Mongolian script, added to Unicode in version 3.0. Unlike Hindu-Arabic numerals, Mongolian digits are part of a vertical script system, though in Unicode they are often rendered in horizontal blocks. It is technically classified as a “Decimal Number” (Nd).
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ᠐ (Digit Zero) or the Latin letter ‘I’.
