The Latin Small Letter R With Caron (ř) is a critical character in Slavic orthography, most famously known for its role in the Czech language. It represents a raised alveolar non-sonorant trill. In terms of Unicode structure, it is a canonical decomposition of U+0072 (r) and the combining caron/háček U+030C. It is also used in Upper Sorbian and historically in some transcriptions of other languages.
