ℹ️ About
The Arabic Small High Sad is a nonspacing diacritical mark (Mn) used primarily in Qur’anic orthography to denote specific pauses or abbreviations. Introduced in Unicode 9.0, it resides in the Arabic Extended-A block. As a “combining class: above” character, it is designed to be rendered directly over a base Arabic letter without advancing the horizontal cursor.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ص (Standard Arabic Letter Sad).
