ℹ️ About
The Armenian Emphasis Mark (՛), or shesh, is a punctuation mark used in the Armenian script to indicate stress. Unlike many languages that use italics or bolding, Armenian traditionally uses this mark placed above the vowel of the stressed syllable. It is a critical component for linguistic fidelity in Armenian typography.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ՚ (Armenian Apostrophe U+055A) or the Acute Accent used in Latin scripts.
