The Devanagari Letter Na (न) is a dental nasal consonant and one of the most frequently used characters in the Devanagari script. It represents the “n” sound in Hindi, Marathi, Nepali, and Sanskrit. It is technically classified as an ‘Other Letter’ and was part of the original Unicode 1.1 release in 1993.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ऩ (U+0929), the Devanagari Letter Nnna used in specific linguistic contexts.
