ℹ️ About

The Circumflex Accent (U+005E), often called a “caret,” is a Modifier Symbol within the Basic Latin block. Beyond its role as a diacritic, it is a powerhouse in computing: acting as the “start of line” anchor in Regular Expressions, representing XOR bitwise operations in C-style languages, and signifying exponentiation in mathematics and Excel.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ˇ (U+02C7 – Caron) or (U+2227 – Logical And).
