ℹ️ About
The Low Line (U+005F), popularly known as the underscore, is a critical Connector Punctuation mark within the Basic Latin block. Originally used on typewriters to underline words, it has evolved into a vital coding character used to link identifiers where spaces are prohibited (snake_case). It is a non-mirrored, non-combining character standardized since Unicode 1.1.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with – (U+002D – Hyphen-Minus) or – (U+2013 – En Dash).
