The Line Tabulation Set (HTS) character is a functional control code within the C1 set. Historically used in teletext and hardware terminal systems, it instructs the output device to set a vertical tabulation stop at the current line position, facilitating complex data layout and vertical alignment.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with Š (Latin Capital Letter S with Caron, U+0160), which is a visible character.
