The Latin Capital Letter Schwa (Ə) is an uppercase letter used primarily in Azerbaijan’s Latin alphabet to represent the near-open front unrounded vowel. In phonetics, it represents a stressed schwa or mid-central vowel. Unlike the similar-looking “e”, it is an inverted or “turned” letterform.
