ℹ️ About

The Combining Greek Ypogegrammeni (or iota subscript) is a nonspacing mark primarily used in polytonic Greek. It attaches to the underside of vowels (α, η, ω) to represent a historical /i/ sound that became silent in later stages of the language.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ͺ (Greek Ypogegrammeni – Spacing) or ̂ (Circumflex).
