ℹ️ About

The Cyrillic Capital Letter Short U (Ў) is a distinctive character primarily used in the Belarusian alphabet, where it represents the voiced labial-velar approximant /w/. It is technically a decomposition of the Cyrillic Letter U (У) and a Combining Breve (◌̆). Added in Unicode 1.1, it is also found in some Central Asian languages using Cyrillic scripts.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with the Latin Ŭ (U with Breve) or the standard Cyrillic У.
