ℹ️ About

The Cyrillic Small Letter Ksi (ѯ) is a historical character modeled after the Greek letter Xi (ξ). Historically used in the Early Cyrillic alphabet, it primarily represented the sound /ks/ in Greek loanwords. Although it was officially removed from the Russian alphabet during the civil script reform of Peter the Great in 1708, it remains indispensable for scholars of Old Church Slavonic and researchers digitizing ancient Slavic manuscripts.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with Ѯ (U+046E, Capital) or the Greek small letter ξ.
