The Latin Capital Letter C with Circumflex (Ĉ) is the fourth letter of the Esperanto alphabet, where it represents the voiceless postalveolar affricate /tʃ/, equivalent to the English “ch”. Historically, it was integrated into Unicode version 1.1. It is technically a composite character formed by the base letter ‘C’ (U+0043) and the Combining Circumflex Accent (U+0302).

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with Č (C with Caron) or Ć (C with Acute).
