The Armenian Apostrophe (U+055A) is a punctuation mark used in the Armenian script to denote elision or specific grammatical possessives. Unlike the standard Latin apostrophe, it is historically and typographically unique to the Armenian block. It was introduced in Unicode 1.1 (1993) and is a non-mirrored, left-to-right character.
