The Armenian Small Letter Ech (ե) is the 5th letter of the Armenian alphabet. In the Eastern Armenian dialect, it represents [ɛ] at the end of a word or [jɛ] at the beginning, whereas in Western Armenian, it generally represents the [ɛ] sound. It is a fundamental lowercase character within the Armenian script block, integrated into Unicode 1.1.
