ℹ️ About
The Hebrew Point Qamats Qatan (U+05C7) is a non-spacing mark (niqqud) vowel sign. It represents the short ‘o’ sound. Because it is a diacritic, it is designed to combine with a base letter (like Aleph א). It was officially added to Unicode in version 4.1 (2005) to distinguish specifically the Qatan variant from the standard Qamats.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with the regular ָ (Hebrew Point Qamats).
