Arabic Letter Mark

ℹ️ About
The Arabic Letter Mark (ALM) is a non-printing format control character. Unlike standard letters, it has no visual glyph. It is used to influence the Unicode Bidirectional Algorithm by providing an “Arabic Letter” (AL) directional property. This helps resolve neutral character directionality in RTL (Right-to-Left) contexts without inserting visible text.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with (U+200F: Right-to-Left Mark), which has a “Strong RTL” property but not the “Arabic Letter” property required for certain script-specific shaping.
