ℹ️ About

The Buginese Letter Ca (ᨌ) is a linguistic character from the Lontara script, historically used for the Buginese, Makassarese, and Mandar languages of Sulawesi, Indonesia. Technically, it represents the voiceless palatal affricate /tʃ/. The script’s sharp, angular design originated from the practice of incising characters onto palm leaves using a small knife.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with (Buginese Letter Ja), which adds a horizontal junction at the center.
