The Buginese Letter Nya (ᨎ) is a linguistic character from the Lontara script, historically used by the Bugis people of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. It represents the palatal nasal consonant /ɲ/. This block was introduced in Unicode 4.1 (2005) to preserve the digital heritage of South Sulawesi’s unique Brahmic-derived writing systems.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with (Buginese Letter Nyca) which has a similar base but includes an additional stroke.
