ℹ️ About

The Latin Small Letter L With Caron (ľ) is a lowercase character essential for the Slovak alphabet, representing the palatal lateral approximant /ʎ/. Technically, it is a composite character consisting of the base letter ‘l’ and a caron (háček). In Slovak typography, the caron over ‘l’ (and ‘d’, ‘t’) is often rendered as a small apostrophe-like mark to the right of the ascender rather than a traditional inverted circumflex.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with l’ (L + apostrophe) or ļ (L with cedilla).
