ℹ️ About

The Latin Capital Letter L With Caron (Ľ) is a specialized uppercase character primarily used in the Slovak alphabet to represent a palatalized lateral approximant. Structurally, it consists of a capital “L” modified by a caron diacritic. Interestingly, in most high-quality fonts, the caron over an L is rendered as a small vertical stroke (resembling an apostrophe) rather than a traditional inverted hat, due to the letter’s vertical ascender height.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with Ł (L with stroke) or L’ (L followed by a standard apostrophe).
