ℹ️ About

U+011C is the uppercase version of the Esperanto letter ‘ĝ’. It represents the voiced postalveolar affricate [d͡ʒ], similar to the ‘j’ in “judge.” Technically, it is a Latin character with a diacritic mark, decomposable into the base letter ‘G’ and the combining circumflex (U+0302). It is a vital component of the Latin Extended-A block for supporting Central European and auxiliary language scripts.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with Ğ (G with Breve) or Ġ (G with Dot Above).
