ℹ️ About

The Latin Small Ligature Oe (œ) is a typographic fusion of the letters ‘o’ and ‘e’. It is a standard component of French orthography (e.g., cœur, œil) and is also used in Medieval Latin and some English words of Greek origin (e.g., diarrhoea). Unlike a simple character pair, this ligature is a single codepoint in the Latin Extended-A block.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with æ (ae ligature) or the separate letters oe.
