ℹ️ About

The ŕ (U+0155) is the lowercase counterpart to the accented ‘R’. It is a key phoneme in Slovak, representing a syllabic long /r/ sound. It also appears in Lower Sorbian. Technically, it is a canonical decomposition of the base letter ‘r’ (U+0072) and the combining acute accent (U+0301).

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ř (r with caron) used in Czech.
