The Latin Small Letter J With Stroke (ɉ) is a specialized lowercase character used in linguistic transcription and specific orthographies, such as the Mazahua language. Added in Unicode 5.0, it features a horizontal stroke through the stem of the lowercase ‘j’. It is the lowercase counterpart to the uppercase Ɉ (U+0248).

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ɟ (U+025F: dotless j with stroke) used in IPA.
