ℹ️ About

The Greek Capital Letter San (Ϻ) is an archaic letter of the Greek alphabet that appeared between Pi and Qoppa in certain local dialects, most notably in Dorian Greek. Visually similar to the modern ‘M’, it represented a /s/ sound, often competing with Sigma. In Unicode, it serves the critical role of preserving historical and epigraphical texts for researchers and historians.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with M (Latin Capital Letter M, U+004D) or Μ (Greek Capital Letter Mu, U+039C).
