ℹ️ About

The Hebrew Point Hiriq (ִ) is a fundamental non-spacing Niqqud mark representing the /i/ vowel sound. In Hebrew orthography, it is rendered as a single dot centered beneath a consonant. It plays a critical role in vocalizing texts and is often paired with the letter Yod to form a “Hiriq Male” (long /i/).

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ֹ (Hebrew Point Holam) or punctuation dots.
