ℹ️ About

The Greek Letter Digamma (Ϝ) is an archaic letter of the Greek alphabet that originally represented the sound /w/. It is named “digamma” due to its shape resembling a double gamma (Γ). In the Greek numeral system, it represents the number 6, though it was largely replaced by the stigma ligature in later periods.

⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with the Latin letter F, which shares the same Phoenician ancestor but is a distinct Unicode character.
