The Devanagari Letter Ga (ग) is a primary voiced velar plosive consonant used in scripts for Hindi, Sanskrit, and Marathi. Introduced in Unicode 1.1, it follows a standard Left-to-Right directionality. It is a base character often modified by a nukta (ग़) to represent sounds in loanwords.
⚠️ Note: Do not confuse with ग़ (U+095A) which includes a nukta point for the ‘ghha’ sound.
